Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers Some cool things happening this month Let's jump right in... The Mark Carter Project Guitar-Keyboards-Sax-Bass-Drums After playing so many different and diverse gigs in my career I started writing and recording music to feature my guitar playing in 1999. This band was assembled to perform that music ! We usually mix in a few classic Jazz tunes and I'm excited to get the guys back together. Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers Looks like we made it through another one ! December was truly a blur for me but happy to be easing into a new year. Hoping you had some great time with family and friends Coming up.... The 50th Anniversary Tour... (I need a breath here) I graduated high school in 1973. By the fall of that year I was playing music and paying my bills as a working musician. I will be sharing more stories with you and invite you to share yours with me. So many of you have been with me a long long time. What a journey its been !! This year I will release my 4th CD Some good friends helping out in the recording of new music and I'm getting excited. Hopefully by summer there will be some cool tunes in your home !! I'm still teaching live in West Covina and on Zoom. | Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers “Everything Must Change”…. in the words of Benard Ighner (George Benson has a great version) We say goodbye to the Toasted Barrel at the end of this month as Ed and Sherry sail off to the island of retirement. It’s been a good ride for me. I started there in early 2020 and Ed kept calling me back all through Covid. A fun job and I will miss it but… “One door closes and another door opens” I’ve lived these words for over 40 years and nothing rings truer in my life. Blessings and Love to Ed and Sherry and all the Toasted Barrel crew ! Sooooo Maybe it’s a good time to book your Holiday entertainment ?? It’s happening now ! In the meantime…. Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers
I’m so grateful to have a week off in July
and visit my son and his family in Utah.
He’s been up there 8 years now and loves it.
We had a blast with his wife and kids and the
drive was beautiful…Counting my blessings
My long time friend Bill Yee has asked me to
bring back the Men In Black Show,
with a Live Band !
So here we go saluting the music of
Glen Campbell, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash.

Chartbound list.
This week it’s been picked up on 4 more charts
in the Smooth Jazz world.
So it’s kinda fun…..I hope you are enjoying it !
In August I have a special show coming up
for my friend Bill Yee in Alhambra.
Some friends will help me honor the music of
