Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers
 
I hope you and yours had a beautiful holiday season.
Hard to believe we are off and running into a new year.
But here we are !
 
I had a nice Christmas evening with my daughters family.
Abbey is 3 and Jacob is 13 and they could not be closer.
We had a fantastic dinner that my daughter and her husband made.
My son and daughter and thier spouses are all very good cooks
and I have no idea where that came from….but I’m not complaining,
it’s a pretty nice gift at this stage in life.
 
I just finisihed working on a Smooth Jazz single with
Grammy winning producer Paul Brown.
We will be promoting it to radio in June and in the meantime
I will be working on the CD which it will be the lead off track.
So, I’m chipping away at some new music in the home studio
and looking forward to sharing it !!
 
In the meantime my co-write with Paul Brown and Larry Carlton
“Miles and Miles To Go” has ended up
at #20 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz charts…..Grateful !

Traditions, we all have them.
I’d like to share one of my favorites …
The Mission Inn in Riverside is pretty amazing
and the whole downtown area can be a real joy.
Even though last year was not as festive it was still enjoyable.
Hopefully better this year !
 
Speaking of “Traditions”
here is something I have not been able to do for almost 2 years,
not the best December I’ve ever had……but I’ll take it !

Dear Friends, Fans, and Music Lovers
 
Hoping everyone is doing well and staying healthy.
I’ve booked a few more jobs this past couple of months.
So, I’m hopeful, praying, and grateful.
 
We humans can be a fun bunch…..can’t we ?
A friend asked me to play her “baby shower” last Sunday….
What a PARTY that turned out to be !!
Pregnant women need to be careful in a Conga Line 🙂

Dear Friends, Fans, and Music Lovers
 
I’ll step away from my career news for a bit and
share a little personal story…
 
About 10 years ago,
my son married a beautiful lady from Utah
and they have been making their home up there.
(They have an incredible home !)
Now with 2 kids and good jobs they took a vacation
and came home last month. The kids were a blast
and I took them to the beach for the first time in their
lives….what a thrill to watch my son and his family
play in the Pacific Ocean…..priceless !!
It was a great visit.
Years ago my son turned to me and said…
“Dad do you know the song..
Cats In The Cradle by Harry Chapin ? “
I responded with a yes and we agreed we were living it.

Dear Friends, Fans, and Music Lovers
It’s June 15 2021….

California has officially re-opened and Dodger Stadium is packed to full capacity !! In the words of John Fogerty …..”put me in coach, I’m ready to play, today.”


My phone has started to ring again these past few weeks so I m playing a bit more and I’m feeling alot better about this summer. I don’t hink it’s just Baseball players who will stay busy. I’m swinging the bat for all my musician friends. Come on guys let’s suit up and play gigs again ! “put me in coach, I’m ready to play, today.”

I ain’t got no crystal ball……just my faith.

Things seem to be moving along in our world again,and I’m so grateful . This past week I turned down 2 jobs because I was already booked and that’s a positive sign for me. Last month I performed at 10 different private events that came in very quickly. The wheels are a turning……Thank God !


In the meantime … There’s new songs to learn, new songs to write, new lessons to teach and new lessons to learn !

Just like many of you, I am hopeful our world is starting to move
in the right direction while we move past this health crisis.
My phone has been ringing once again the past few weeks
and several jobs have came back and a previous restaurant.
These are positive signs in my life and I believe everyone
