| Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers “Everything Must Change”…. in the words of Benard Ighner (George Benson has a great version) We say goodbye to the Toasted Barrel at the end of this month as Ed and Sherry sail off to the island of retirement. It’s been a good ride for me. I started there in early 2020 and Ed kept calling me back all through Covid. A fun job and I will miss it but… “One door closes and another door opens” I’ve lived these words for over 40 years and nothing rings truer in my life. Blessings and Love to Ed and Sherry and all the Toasted Barrel crew ! Sooooo Maybe it’s a good time to book your Holiday entertainment ?? It’s happening now ! In the meantime…. Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers
I’m so grateful to have a week off in July
and visit my son and his family in Utah.
He’s been up there 8 years now and loves it.
We had a blast with his wife and kids and the
drive was beautiful…Counting my blessings
My long time friend Bill Yee has asked me to
bring back the Men In Black Show,
with a Live Band !
So here we go saluting the music of
Glen Campbell, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash.

On June 10 it debuted at #1 on the Smoothjazz.com
Chartbound list.
This week it’s been picked up on 4 more charts
in the Smooth Jazz world.
So it’s kinda fun…..I hope you are enjoying it !
In August I have a special show coming up
for my friend Bill Yee in Alhambra.
Some friends will help me honor the music of
Glen Campbell, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash.

I was teaching guitar to a couple of brothers
last week and said “Have you heard that song..
We Don’t Talk About Bruno from Encanto ? “
The 9 year old replied…”Everyone in the world has
heard that song, the teachers at school play
the Soundtrack everyday !!”
I get it….Latin Music Rocks !!
I wrote it out and can’t get it out of my head.
Good job Mr Miranda !

Hi Friends, Fans and Music Lovers
I hope you and yours had a beautiful holiday season.
Hard to believe we are off and running into a new year.
But here we are !
I had a nice Christmas evening with my daughters family.
Abbey is 3 and Jacob is 13 and they could not be closer.
We had a fantastic dinner that my daughter and her husband made.
My son and daughter and thier spouses are all very good cooks
and I have no idea where that came from….but I’m not complaining,
it’s a pretty nice gift at this stage in life.
I just finisihed working on a Smooth Jazz single with
Grammy winning producer Paul Brown.
We will be promoting it to radio in June and in the meantime
I will be working on the CD which it will be the lead off track.
So, I’m chipping away at some new music in the home studio
and looking forward to sharing it !!
In the meantime my co-write with Paul Brown and Larry Carlton
“Miles and Miles To Go” has ended up
at #20 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz charts…..Grateful !

Traditions, we all have them.
I’d like to share one of my favorites …
The Mission Inn in Riverside is pretty amazing
and the whole downtown area can be a real joy.
Even though last year was not as festive it was still enjoyable.
Hopefully better this year !
Speaking of “Traditions”
here is something I have not been able to do for almost 2 years,
not the best December I’ve ever had……but I’ll take it !
