How’s your summer going ?

In Southern California it’s all about
the beach, theme parks, and more beach !

Last month I had some extra work in
Long Beach, Laguna Beach and Manhattan Beach.
Ah, Oh,…I did find some time to catch a sunset ….
Always trying to mix a little fun with work you know 🙂

Theme Parks…
As Disneyland celebrates 60 years, I remember working summer nights at the Carnation Plaza with the Horace Heidt Orchestra back in the 1990’s.
A great Big Band playing swing music and enjoying the dancers night after night. ….Good Times !

gig in Long Beach CA….
Always fun to play by the ocean on a beautiful day !
I am working on a new venue for this band,

I just got back from a vacation. Visiting
my son’s family and celebrating birthdays with them.
He has 2 children and they are keeping him and his wife …..BUSY  !!

How are you all doing ?

I’m recovering from yet another birthday !

My kids surprised me big time this year with
a new Eastman guitar. I am really diggin
this instrument, It’s a beautiful archtop jazz guitar.
You’ll be hearing it early in my shows because of it’s
beautiful mellow tone.
But not to worry, my trusty Fender Stratocaster is
always nearby for Rocking Out     🙂
