playing other people’s songs…….No regrets !
You LEARN ALOT knowing 100’s of tunes
in a variety of styles. And I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,
playing great songs !!

A few years ago,
I started writing and recording my own CD’s
just to see where my heart would lead …
Out came a blend of many things I like in music
Pop, Funk, Groove, and just plain fun.

The Mark Carter Project is my LIVE band.
Guitar, Saxophone,Keyboards, Bass and Drums.
……it’s a HOT HOT BAND !!
We will be appearing in Long Beach for a great
afternoon of music, funnel cakes, and some
serious Funky Jazz ….Get Down !!!

Merry Christmas !

I’m really late on this one, but I could not let the month
go by without wising you a Merry, Merry Christmas.
You have been so very good to me over the years and
I want to say again how grateful I am to stand and share
this gift called music that we all love so much.

Right now might be a good time to share this bit of
information also. I teach guitar a few hours a week at
Singer Music in La Puente. This is a Great Store to begin
YOUR adventure in music. Maybe someone you know will find
a Guitar, Trumpet, Saxophone or a Drum Set stuffed in thier stocking. 🙂

And finally, this month has been full of private parties,
Country Clubs, weddings and a funeral.  So, I’m ready for a vacation
and sometime to enjoy my children and friends.

Here’s to a new year, new music and new adventures !

I recieved a nice royalty check in September.
It seems a television show in Ireland used one of my tune’s
and, well,  now I’m BIG in Ireland  🙂

Bad News

After 12 years my website company seems to have closed shop. So my site is not up now and I need a new site.
If anyone knows someone in the biz, please have them give me a call. I’m proud to say  I have held the  #1 and #2
Mark Carter positions on Google for a long time.

My CD’s are still available on iTunes and at all my performances. So keep those iPods,cellphones, etc,etc
