I just spent some time with my son and his wife. They are expecting their
first baby in August. Please keep them in your prayers. I’m looking
forward to watching them grow and change as parents.
What a journey !

My daughter and her husband have a great little guy
who will soon be 4 years old and what a ball of energy he is !

It seems so long ago when my kids were that age
and yet in a heartbeat it feels like yesterday.

Sweet memories…….1969….Do you remember ? Woodstock, the Moon Landing, Credence Clearwater Revival ? I was going to school in Brea Ca.and falling madly in love with the guitar. I had a paper route and saved some money so my dad and I could attend a Chet Atkins concert at the Fabulous Forum on July 20 1969 The world was watching Neil Armstrong, dad and I were watching Chet. Fast forward, I took my son to see Chet 20 years later almost to the day ! Don’t tell anyone, but my best buddy John Anderson and I played at the grand opening of the first McDonald’s in Brea ….talk about bookings!

Who would have known all these years later, Brea had grown up and I would be playing my guitar there again ?

Hey friends, It’s been a while and I need to catch up!!
Work has been keeping me busy,
mostly teaching and the restaurant gigs each week.
January came and I took some time off and drove up the coast to Monterey.
The weather turned out nice and it was relaxing and fun.
February came by and I enjoyed another birthday
as well as Valentines Day at the Dal Rae………nice !
March is here and I’m feeling a wee bit of me Irish bloodline!
Now, If I could only find me Blarney Stone 🙂
