Happy Thanksgiving !

I’m feeling awfully grateful….
This year mark’s my 40th year
as a working musician in So Cal.
It’s been a great ride with plenty of
peaks and valleys. Yet still, NOTHING
rock’s my boat like standing in front
of people and playing the guitar.
I’m praying for 40 more and
counting my blessings.

How was that summer fun  ??
Mine are always busy with extra performances
and this one was not much different…
Counting my blessings !

So here we are in October and I’m ready to
catch my breath for a little bit. I will spend
some time with the kids and their
families and enjoy a few days off.

BUT…..  A new project awaits….
I have a 5 inch binder full of lyrics
that is being converted into PDF’s
for my new iPad. Away with the paper.
FYI…..
There is another 5 inch binder
in my brain, and yet another one I have
forgotten over the years 🙂

There have been so many, giving so much.

We will be playing the music I composed and

just sitting here reflecting on Mr. George Duke
This week God called him home.
A legend in contemporary jazz & pop.
His piano playing and producing touched so many.
I was able to see him last year at the Hollywood Bowl
with Marcus Miller and David Sanborn.
What a great show !!
R.I.P. George Duke you gave this world so much.

How was that July 4th celebration?

I performed for a dinner dance at a private country club.

and the chicken was pretty good  too !

birthday and looking forward to spending time with family.
